Jeffrey D. Arrowood

Jeffrey Arrowood has been a practicing attorney in the state of Florida since 1998. He founded Arrowood Law Firm with the belief that all clients deserve to be walked through the complex court process with a law firm that has the experience and concern to give the client an understanding of what to expect, how their case will proceed and what the possible outcomes may be. Arrowood Law Firm currently handles criminal and family law cases throughout North Florida.

Jeff was in law enforcement for 11 years before going to law school. He was a Sheriff’s Deputy for six years and then a Police Chief for 5 more years. This experience affords Jeff the understanding of law enforcement practices and procedures. It also allows him the ability to discern whether all procedures were followed correctly during an arrest situation and through the charging aspects of the case.

As an Assistant State Attorney in Leon County, Jeff tried over 50 cases during his two year stay at that Office, and won the most cases for the year 2001. After becoming a private criminal defense attorney, Jeff has tried cases in Leon, Wakulla, Suwanee, Lafayette, Escambia, Okaloosa, and Santa Rosa Counties. This experience of a variety of judicial environments has given him an added advantage in the courtroom.

In family law cases, Jeff works with his clients to give a realistic and yet positive view of the situation facing them. From the first consultation, he works with the clients in a manner that allows them to make all choices on how they wish to proceed. Some clients work with their spouse or the opposing party to develop an agreement which fits both parties’ needs. In other cases clients choose to have Jeff work with the opposing party’s attorney in order work through the dissolution, support or paternity matter.
